Unanswered YouTube comments checker
Find out how many comments on a channel’s last 20 videos never got a reply. Public data, no sign-in, nothing is posted.
How it works
- We look up the channel and its 20 most recent uploads through the official YouTube Data API.
- For each video we read the newest 100 top-level comments and their replies.
- A comment counts as unanswered when none of its replies come from the channel itself.

Questions
- What does the checker count?
- It reads the newest 100 top-level comments on each of the channel's 20 most recent videos and counts the ones with no reply from the channel itself. Comments written by the channel owner are not counted.
- Is it exact?
- It is a close estimate. YouTube's public API returns up to five replies per comment, so a comment with more than five replies where the creator answered late can be counted as unanswered. Signed-in ReplyDial users see the exact list for their own channel.
- Does it need my password or channel access?
- No. It uses only public data, the same comments anyone can see on youtube.com, through the official YouTube Data API. Nothing is posted and nothing is stored beyond a 24-hour cache of the counts.
- Why is there a daily limit?
- YouTube's API gives each project a fixed daily quota. The free checker is capped at 100 channel checks a day so it stays available. Results are cached for 24 hours, so checking the same channel again is free.
- How do I answer them?
- Sign in to ReplyDial with the Google account that owns the channel. It lists every unanswered comment across the whole channel, drafts a reply for each one, and posts only what you approve.
